November 2, 200322 yr More than 12 GI's died today in Iraq when their chopper was shot down. The Number is undetermined but because of Bush and his half a** approach to this war we now have 15 dead Americans and a new fire for our enemies in Iraq to call out the people of Iraq and held their cause and belive me they will now that they see that we are not invincible. Congrats Bush, you better attend everyone of those funerals. In my book it's time we clamp down on the people unless your going to work or have been approved to be in the streets you must stay in hour house. November 2, 200322 yr what's your solution to the problem? personally, i think we should use more troops and more money. do you suggest we should pull out? it's very hard to pin the deaths of GI's on the president. at the moment, his critics can't even decide what they'd do in this situation.
November 2, 200322 yr Author what's your solution to the problem? Like I said, unless an Iraqi has approval to be out on the streets or is commuting to a job or something like that, keep them in their homes and enforce it until things are cleared out. I just don't want to see Body Bags being sent back while we continue to let the same people killing ours guys out on the street. The Iraqi people had their chance and they blew it.
November 2, 200322 yr It would of been nice for Bush to not LIE to the people about why we were going to war. It also would be nice to have some real plan on how to rebuild IRAQ...something that he obviously has no clue about.
November 2, 200322 yr so you want to put the entire country's population on lockdown/house arrest unless they have permission? and not look like occupiers while we set up a government there? first of all, if we sent our entire army there, we still wouldn't be able to enforce something like that. israel, despite its stranglehold on gaza, still wouldnt be able to enforce that sort of lock down without committing its entire army. taking it out on the iraqi people is not going to make things better. have we learned anything from the israeli-palestinian conflict? we can't get our way like that. in retrospect, i think everyone can agree that we shouldn't have gotten into this situation in the first place. but considering conditions now, i don't see what else bush can do at this point. it's a terrible situation that i hate, but right now we can't do anything about it.
November 3, 200322 yr Bush should be charged with murder everytime one of our troops die How can you do that! When the U.S. Constitution says "W" is Commander in Chief of army, navy, etc. And the U.S. Congress pre-approved military action in Iraq. I am happy Bush is doing something while the chicken Clinton did nothing to make this world safer.
November 3, 200322 yr Clinton may not have done anything to make the world safer, but he never did anything to make the world more dangerous either. Bush did.
November 3, 200322 yr rmember that movie black hawk down? Bill clinton only went to a small war that time and 17 guys died. after that clinton pulled everybody out and that was the end. people didnt agree with clinton, but i think he did the right thing. bush just keeps going no matter what though.
November 3, 200322 yr I am happy Bush is doing something while the chicken Clinton did nothing to make this world safer. I don't how happy you should be about Bush making the world "safer." I think that dumbass made a stupid error in going to Iraq and now making the world a little "extra" dangerous for all of us.
November 3, 200322 yr agreed, invading iraq was the stupidest presidential decision in several years. but now i don't see what we can do. retreat and let all those GI's die for nothing? and let radical fundamentalists--worse than saddam--take over iraq? and let terrorists know that they can push us around?
November 4, 200322 yr the reason why push won't pull the GI's back is because that would be admitting it was a mistake. But doing that would prevent a lot more GIs from dying for no reason

I'm not a Bush fan but stupidest presidential decision in several years??? Since he went to war under the false pretense of WMD's there since he'll never find them as Saddam is as an expert of hiding as Osama is. But he removed a firebrand from the volatile middle east and that has helped a little. Stupider decision- Having that "heart attack every five minutes" of a man Dick Cheney as his running mate.

November 4, 200322 yr Bush should be charged with murder everytime one of our troops die Wow, that is intelligent. Clinton may not have done anything to make the world safer, but he never did anything to make the world more dangerous either. Bush did. He bombed Iraq. He meddled in the Middle East. Samolia. The list goes on. I don't how happy you should be about Bush making the world "safer." I think that dumbass made a stupid error in going to Iraq and now making the world a little "extra" dangerous for all of us. Iraq was dumb. But extra dangerous, I don't buy that. the reason why push won't pull the GI's back is because that would be admitting it was a mistake. But doing that would prevent a lot more GIs from dying for no reason If you say so
November 4, 200322 yr Iraq was dumb. But extra dangerous, I don't buy that. Yea Juanky I'm gonna go fly to Iraq now and get greeted by Iraqis and they'll give me flowers and a warm welcome plus a free hair cut.
