May 10, 200917 yr in fairness the mike jacobs deal was probably worse. we traded away a 30+ home run lefty bat for a middle reliever. just a straight cash dump. bonifacio, while not very good, is something of a return at least for lefty who wasnt very good and an ok bat that cant stay healthy.

The Jake deal was easily the best we made last season and maybe, in terms of unevenness, the best we've made in years.
