Dan Meyer. Can he be our #5 for now?

To show it out

Miller is making a start at AA on the 10th. He will then be starting on our team on the 15th.

May 7-JJ

8-Nolasco

9-Volstad

10-Anibal (Miller starts in AA)

11-offday

12-JJ

13-Nolasco

14-Volstad

15-Miller

Sanchez is starting on the 7th. JJ starts on the 9th, and Volstad starts on the 10th. Then it starts again with Sanchez on the 12th.

I prefer the idea of the four-man rotation as opposed to inserting Badenhop or Meyer for one start.

You're right, not sure how I made that mistake.

so it will probably be

7- Sanchez

8-Nolasco

9-JJ

10-Volstad

11-offday

12-sanchez

13-nolasco

14-jj

15-volstad

16-andrew

that would put us back on the nolasco>jj>volstad>andrew>sanchez rotation

No.

While tempting, Meyer looks great out of the pen in short bursts. Don't mess with something that is working, and especially for a guy that has struggled for years and is finally doing something good. It'll be awesome if Meyer can make himself a pen fixture and we have a legitimate lefty over the next 4-5 seasons for a low cost. Don't throw him spots just because Taylor stinks. Call up Trahern, or wait for Miller like NNY is saying. The longterm with Meyer is what is important. Not potentially messing him up by throwing him 2 random spot starts that don't really matter in May.
