If Anibal can go back to his 2007, Ricky to stay and not wabble out of his second half 2008 ways, Volstad to keep the ball down, and for Sean West to gain control and be the dominate pitcher he is supposed to be, we are set. August 17, 200916 yr If we are going to do it, then I say do it now. Go on a great winning streak and grab a nice lead in the WC while threatening Phillie for the East. Do not tease me enough so that in Sept I have to come up with the $$$ for play off tickets only to have that cash held over for next year's season tickets. Plus, I would like to go see some folks in northern NY (NE of Syracuse, Oswego County) in October and catch the leaves changing while driving down to Cooperstown (damn, I love that town). I have to make reservations soon if I am going to be able to do that.
August 17, 200916 yr Very doable. We just have to play pretty consistent ball (meaning slightly over .500) and go on a nice little winning streak (7,8, 9 games). Or, play .667 ball at home and slightly above .500 on the road from here on out.
