Wagner on his way to the Sunshine State?
I'm guessing he would go to the Rays since the marlins are in the same division as the mets.

Rise In Fall?
I'm likin the credit we deserve Call me crazy but I think our rotation is fine. JJ is the ace. Ricky has finally figured it out after the short stint in the minors. West has improved after coming back from the minors and I actually trust him more than Vandenhurk. If anibal comes back and performs the way we all expected him to (near his 2007 form) he could be a beast. As for volstad, he just needs to keep the ball down low. We are just fine.

Rise In Fall?
I would say we have similar chances of reaching the playoffs as the rockies.

No Fish: Nothing in the Pond
i agree with Rab and Gizmo. i'd prefer sanchez as the odd man out and if he comes back with good stuff we could get some value in return. if we get rid of nolasco we'd be left with JJ and 4 average pitchers, at best. I never said that I'd prefer Sanchez to return, I just said that it was a guess. With the salaries of the two players next season, I'd say there is a higher chance of Sanchez being in next year's rotation than Nolasco. Of course though, if money wasn't in issue, I'd take Nolasco any day. If we we're to trade Nolasco this offseason, what could we be getting in return? Minor leaue pitching. As much as we could possibly get. That's our weakest minor league area right now, and with West up, we don't have many legitimate pitching prospects. I imagine we could get a good haul for Nolasco. I think we have a pretty good chance at reaching the playoffs. We just need our SP to shape up well and we're set. If Anibal can go back to his 2007, Ricky to stay and not wabble out of his second half 2008 ways, Volstad to keep the ball down, and for Sean West to gain control and be the dominate pitcher he is supposed to be, we are set.
