exactly, last year's Volstad kept the ball down, had hitters hit a lot of ground balls and very few home runs while working out of trouble.

 

This year's Volstad is leaving the ball up in the zone, is getting fly balls instead of ground balls, and isn't getting out of the trouble he did last year.

 

Basically, STOP THE HOME RUN BALL CHRIS!

kelly johnson walks. what ever happened to johnson, he was pretty good the last couple seasons but has struggled this year especially with his average. he did have a slow start and was injured so maybe that has something to do with it. what do you guys think, he was regarded as a really good second baseman before??
