I'm sorry, but I wouldn't want someone like that on my team then.

When a team all around you is doing bad, it wouldn't to see players have down years. The reason? The more talented players in the lineup will get less to hit because the others are not producing. Therefore, they will have to go after pitches they normally would not go after, and make more outs than they commonly do. It is just the way things happen.
