April 5, 201016 yr Its widely agreed upon that Yanks/Redsox is the biggest rivalry in baseball. If you're like me, you dont care about it, but you know its big. What would you say the second biggest is?
April 5, 201016 yr Marlins/Braves, Indians/Twins, and Tigers/White Sox aren't even rivalries. I voted for Giants/Dodgers. Cubs/Cardinals is right up there.

April 6, 201016 yr Marlins/Braves? I'm pretty sure everyone in the division just doesnt like the Braves because of the events happening in the past two decades or so.... there is no powerful rivalry there. Marlins/Mets and even Marlnis/Phillies are stronger rivalries. And for this situation I'd probably look into an inter-league rivalry like the Subway Series Mets/Yanks or perhaps Cubs/W.Sox. On that list though other than other... Giants/Dodgers.

April 14, 201016 yr I had to go with Cubs/Cards. It's a rivalry steeped in tradition with fans that actually show up to the parks. My first thought was to go Giants/Dodgers but I can't get past the 4 inning fans.
April 14, 201016 yr I'd argue that Giants Dodgers is actually the better rivalry. Better than Yankees/Red Sox? Not a chance. If we were talking Brooklyn Dodgers/New York Giants, then maybe. The rivalry died a little bit ever since they moved to California.
