f*** the Cinci announcers

Featured Replies

When Jorge Cantu hit his record HR in the 5th inning, the Red's announcers said he was the first player ever to have "9 straight games with a hit OR a RBI to start a season." Are they f***ing stupid? Way to tarnish the call forever. And we all know damn well they knew it was a hit and a rbi. I'm also pissed this game wasn't televised on FS Florida. I would have loved to hear Rich and Tommy's call on the record breaking HR.

tarnish "the call"? My friend this is definitely a feat, but this isnt a major league record that is going to be remembered forever. It's a fun statistic and a hard thing to accomplish, that's for sure, but it's not like Cantu just set the record for HRs in a season. Besides, Cantu can continue to break his record, it has not snapped. Whatever last call is made is the call. He didnt just move past Bonds for #1 on the HR list. You need to relax, please. It was a mistake, they are human. Good for them, they actually gave notice and props to Cantu.
