Is he still with the club?

MiLB web site last lists him with a Puerto Rican Winter League team, Baseball America lists him in the Mets system, but I don't see him active anywhere.

Its kind of amazing to me that the guy had actually grabbed the closers role at one point, then next thing he gets injured, then drug suspended, and pretty much falls off the face of the Earth.

Yeah, he's somewhere in the Mets minor league system supposedly.

 

On a semi-related note, I recently discovered that Reggie Abercrombie is now playing independent league ball. He is now a member of the Sioux Falls Pheasants.
