Question On Minor League Affiliates

Featured Replies

There seems to be alot of Instability in the minor leagues when it comes to who their parent teams are. Living just outside of Greensboro NC is great considering we have a local connection to my favorite MLB team. Realistically, how long can I enjoy the Grasshoppers being the Marlins Single A Affiliate considering we have been theirs for 5 years now?

Could be wrong, but I believe in 2008 the Marlins reupped Greensboro for two years and this offseason they need to extend the affiliation.

From what I have read over the years, the Marlins like Greensboro and would love to stay. One of the best attendance rates in minor league baseball.

Talking about minor league attendances, I saw that yesterday the Suns game had around the same crowd as the Oakland-Texas game! Cant remember the exact figures so it may even have had more people there. All I know is both crowds were listed as in the 8,000s

Well that is hopefully good news. There always seems to be a big crowd at these games and people will come. The stadium is in a perfect location. It just wouldnt be the same without the Marlins ties.
