June 25, 201016 yr He seemed pretty pissed about the firings and had some pretty harsh comments "As far as why this happened, I'm behind Fredi Gonzalez 100 percent. He knows what he's doing. I just don't think they gave him a very good team to work with … He's A-grade to me. He does it the right way." Thats pretty offensive to some players on the team so I think he should be happy he was let go because I dont think he will be getting much respect after that.
June 25, 201016 yr In terms of the pen he wasn't given much to work with. I wonder if hes backing Fredi so strongly because hopes to go with him to Atl.
June 25, 201016 yr How is it offensive if Admin Beinfest is running around saying the same thing? We all know this team is not good enough (mainly because of the bullpen).
June 25, 201016 yr The only negative thing on this team is the bullpen. But you can't blame that on Beinfest when he's forced to sign guys that WERE good, but aren't anymore, just to luck out.
June 25, 201016 yr A team is 25 players. It's not saying anything against the 15 or so that are the nucleus if the FO has done an incredibly poor job of getting that last 10 in place. Do you think many of the players would disagree with this statement? Obviously those who do agree aren't trying to insult themselves. Presley just said the obvious.
