November 18, 200322 yr That sucks big time. My neighbor at my summer cabin is Doc's nephew and he'll be bummed about that. Doc was born and raised in Milwaukee and if I remember still lives there in the offseason. But hopefully he gets a job elsewhere because he is a great basketball coach in my opinion.
November 19, 200322 yr Author yah Doc has had a hardknock life livin in the NBA. Seriously, the guy is set for life. Not to mention he'll be gettin plenty of offers.
November 19, 200322 yr Reportedly he's recieved an offer to Asst. Coach for the year from an unnamed team. I doubt he'll take it. Maybe he'll take the path of prominent coaches now and go into announcing for a year or 2 and then done get himself a job.
November 21, 200322 yr it must suck to be a coach sometimes...always getting blamed for your team not doing good.
