November 20, 200322 yr This looks like a good trade...they both have good numbers in the minors and if Jason Stokes comes around we can trade Ryan Howard (who plays 1st) for whatever help we need at that time. well Howard would be almost 27 at that time, meanig he wouldnt be a major prospect anymore
November 20, 200322 yr As some of you guys have mentioned this is just the Marlins trying to get more out of the O's. Utley is a niiiiiiiiice player but the player I WANT "IF" this trade were true is LHP Cole Hamels or RHP Gavin Floyd(but I doubt the Phillies will bite) NOT Ryan Howard (Ramp I believe he's 24 not 27 unless you meant he'd be 27 when he finally made it to the ML). If its Howard who they are asking for then those rumors about Stokes being "overrated" are true, and he's NOT the future 1B of this team. Don't get me wrong I like Howard he reminds some of Thome. I just feel if your going to trade a DLee you get a position player and a pitcher. That's all.
