fanofthefish
Unfortunately my teenage son is asleep when I came across this story as it begs for a picture of Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars in a Yankee uniform From the New York Daily News TAMPA - CC Sabathia made headlines for losing 25 pounds. Joba Chamberlain is making headlines for finding some of them. Weight issues are nothing new for the Yankees - just ask spring instructor David Wells - but for Chamberlain, it's the latest in a long line of issues that has followed him since he exploded on to the scene in 2007. It's unclear exactly how much weight Chamberlain put on this winter, and while Brian Cashman knows the number, the general manager declined to get into any specifics on the matter. "He's obviously heavier," Cashman said. "That's as much as I'll say." to read moreMy link
I Love Me Some Fish
I fully expect for ESPN to have a 3 hour special on whether or not he's gonna be a starter this year. Guy is an overrated hack.
MrMarlinPride
It funny because he's fat! But seriously how much bigger and more out of shape did he get? He was huffing and puffing after getting through an inning last season.
Admin
Ahh, I missed ESPN being the All Joba, All the Time Channel. I remember one time they ran a piece about him on SportsCenter, a breakdown of him on Baseball Tonight, and a rundown of all his performances on ESPNNews all in the same day. It was maddening.
