I dont see why y'all are arguing over what position is easier to play. Theyre both outfield positions who cares which one is easier to play is not like your going out there to play, anyways that was just Bryan's opinion.

As someone who was able to play all 3 positions well throughout optimist and whatnot, my rankings were Center, Left and Right. Right field was always boring to me. I loved left field cause most the players were right handed and whatnot so I got a lot out there. Plus, as someone mentioned, yes when lefties hit the ball out there it does slice toward the line but you feel a lot cooler making a catch off those kinds of fly balls.

 

I remember playing in a championship final game [Optimist] and their #3 hitter [lefty] hit a pop-up down the left field line and I was playing left center, so this ball was slicing away from me and even though I have decent speed I surprised myself being able to run over and make that catch back-handed. Saved a run, was almost a double play too [runner on 2nd] but my throw was just a tad off.

 

Anyways, I found left field to be pretty fun. Center of course the most fun but either way. Just Bryan's opinion, nothing wrong with it.
