November 24, 200322 yr caffiene has no callories but it wakes u up and makes u active. why is caffiene bad? ppl drink coffee for it it's mildly addictive. addictive things are never good. we don't really know what caffeine's long term effects are since it's so difficult to run a study on such a common beverage additive. excessive caffeine is bad because it can cause heart palpitations and, in some cases, fatal arrhythmias.
