November 23, 200322 yr Hey guys I'm here on my laptop at the Lambeau Field Parking lot fresh off of a HUGE victory over the Niners. Terrell Owens continues to whine. Ahman Green continues to run the ball. And I think it was made clear today that when Jeff Garcia becomes healthy he HAS to start because Rattay is only an average Quarterback.
November 23, 200322 yr nice win today... for some dumb reason i started Favre over Hasselback in one of my leagues dammit
November 23, 200322 yr The Packers should hope favre retires. He ain't nothing special anymore, and this is a running team now with ahman green and that o-line. Packers need to draft or sign a qb and move on, favre isn't worth it anymore IMO.
November 23, 200322 yr i disagree. i think Favre still "has it" How old is Favre now 34 or 35?? Even if he still has it, which is debateable, he's no where near as good as he used to be, and how much longer will he "have it?"
November 24, 200322 yr Author Marlins02 I take my laptop to Packers games. But I leave it in the car and post before and after the games if I go to Lambeau. And yesterday thats just what I did. Maglio seeing as your a Bears fan (you are right?) thats no surprise. I do know you live in Illinois and so you get to see Favre beat the piss out of the Bears 2 times a year whether your a Bears fan or not. Oh you think he doesn't have huh Mags? Lets see here... He leads the league in TD Passes and has a 84.7 QB rating. Yeah he "doesn't have it". He is still the greatest player in the game right now. And there isn't a team in the NFL that wouldn't want him over what they have. Favre not only is the best in stats, I hope you saw Favre after his 66 yd. pass to Javon Walker he was jumping around like a rookie. Then on key defensive downs Brett jumps up on to the bench and waves his hands in the air to get the Lambeau faithful to make some noise. Him and Marino are the greatest of all time. Period. Favre is the most firery competitor in the game, he leads the NFL in TD Passes now (thats the QB stat that counts the most!), the Packers are winning, and he has a QB rating of 84.7) Yeah he's really lost it. Thats a rediculous thing to say there Mags, and normally I respect your opinion very highly, but not with that. The reason Driver, Walker, Ferguson, Franks, and Walls aren't putting up their normal numbers is because we have the best Running Back in football and we barely pass it. Yesterday we ran it 48 TIMES and passed only 15 TIMES Favre was 10/15 for 138 yds. and 2 TD and had a 13.8 yds. per pass avg.

Favre was 10/15 for 138 yds. and 2 TD and had a 13.8 yds. per pass avg. yea, you're not on crack are you? not gonna mention his picks? The reason Driver, Walker, Ferguson, Franks, and Walls aren't putting up their normal numbers is because we have the best Running Back in football and we barely pass it. arguable Favre not only is the best in stats, I hope you saw Favre after his 66 yd. pass to Javon Walker he was jumping around like a rookie. i love his giddiness too, i think its great, but it means jack squat..... and wow he has 1 more td pass than 4 guys including brad johnson who plays tonight, he has no passing yards and he has 15int(only Bulger has more)... not that good bro
November 24, 200322 yr He is still the greatest player in the game right now. And there isn't a team in the NFL that wouldn't want him over what they have. I have to play the favortism card here. One name. Peyton Manning. Outside of Manning, I'd rather have Farve than any other QB in the NFL. Farve is the second best QB in the game, but not nearly the best PLAYER in the league. Hell, he's not even the best player on his team.

November 24, 200322 yr how come nobody mentions McNair? put that dude on my team anyday. McNair completely slipped my mind. I'd also rather have Dante, McNabb, and not to mention that Vick kid.

Yesterday we ran it 48 TIMES and passed only 15 TIMES Favre was 10/15 for 138 yds. and 2 TD and had a 13.8 yds. per pass avg. Look, Favre is one of the 5 best qb's ever, and had one of the 5 best decades by a qb ever in the 90's. It's not like i'm saving Favre sucks, he's still one of the best qb's in the game. But is he as good as he was in the 90's?? Heck no. Sorry, but my definition of lost it is that they are past their prime, and favre clearly is. This is now a running team with Ahman Green. Favre may be a great leader and fiery and all, but that doesn't mean crap in reality. I am not some bears fan blinded to Favre's accomplishments and the fact that he's one of the best ever, because i'm not even a bears fan :lol . Favre hasn't totally lost it, but i'm saying he's in his mid 30's and every year he doesn't look as good as he did the previous year, so IMO he is starting to lose it, which says a lot on Favre's behalf becase even while "losing it", he's one of the best qb's in the game. And it's good to hear you "normally respect my opinion very highly." :thumbup
