These rumors are true. Unless he wins both the CU and the bowl game there is no way Solich is the Head Coach at NU. I liked Solich as a player but he can't cut it as a coach.

I really hope Solich gets canned. The program is just not heading in the right direction. I think they took a step forward when they hired Pelini as def. coordinator, but they really need to get a new head coach to bring in a new look maybe a different philosophy, because the higher level teams are tearing Nebraska apart.

First thing Nebraska needs to do if they want to be a consistent BCS calibur team....

 

get rid of that option crap, defenses are too fast for it to work on a consistent basis anymore. I mean sure having some option in your offense can still work in college, but to have the option be the majority and the basis of your offense simply can't cut it in this day in age.

The option can still be successful if it has a passing attack to go along with it. That's the problem right now. No passing attack.

Exactly, read the rest of my post and you will see that's why i'm saying, or at least that's why i was trying to say. The option can work as a portion of, but not as the majority and basis of an offense.
