November 25, 200322 yr That sucks for Zo. I've never liked him, but he doesn't deserve this, nobody does. However, as long as he can get that transplant, he'll live a nice healthy life and he just made 22.6 million dollars to play 12 games of basketball. (Every cent is guaranteed).
November 25, 200322 yr yup, that was the point i was about to make. the nets were stupid enough to guarantee him $22mil. if the guy sat out the better part of the past two seasons with kidney trouble, you'd think they would see this coming? personally, i think he knew that kidney failure would be just on the horizon. nonetheless, i'm very sad to see him end his career like this. i'm pretty confident that he'll get his transplant. if a relative can't give him one, it should be a piece of cake for him to get an unrelated donor transplant or a cadaver transplant, considering his wealth and celebrity status. most black men on the waiting lists have to wait a decade to get a kidney, but i'm pretty confident zo will get one ASAP and will live a normal, long life. get well zo. sorry for dissing you the other day on some other thread. at least my name isn't kmart.
