naw he plays excellent defense 99% of the time and he's getting his average up.

 

His defense is fine. (although that was still his fault)

It's (his defense) not good enough to make up for his putrid offense.

 

The numbers speak for themselves. He's been, overall, one of the worst 2B in the game this year. His only accomplishment this year is being better than Uggla. Whoopty-doo.

Overall he's been about average considering he has played fantastic defense. (Fielding Bible?)

 

Not to mention his .BA has gone up to a respectable mark since the beginning of the year.

I know he has a +2.8 UZR (above average, yes). As I said, he's been fine defensively.

 

His average is under .260 and worst of all, HE HAS AN ON-BASE PERCENTAGE UNDER .300...WITH NO POWER. He f***ing sucks offensively.

 

Overall, it leads to a .4 WAR for the year. He's been garbage.

 

 

Did I say I had it? Usually the fielding bible is awarded solely on defensive stats not offensive stats the Gold Glove usually goes to both offensive and defensive excellence (makes no sense)

 

He's an above average defender so we agree on that.

 

And he is a slightly below average hitter (.BA) wise. Now I will say his OBP sucks (it might be the worst among 2B) but I mean we would have to then argue about the importance and relevance of each stat.

 

Compared to what we had he is also an upgrade, unless you want a few extra HR's over solid defense.

This is pathetic. Can i have some consistently good hitting please?
