November 8, 201114 yr Instead of getting into bidding wars with the big spenders in the Northeast and Midwest this offseason over the top available Starting Pitchers (which they all seem to prioritize over everything else), we focus on filling the holes in the lineup, which we probably wouldn't have to overpay for, and wait 'til next offseason, when the major spenders don't have a need for (the demand will be much lower), and the supply for starting pitching is bountiful to address the rotation?
November 8, 201114 yr nah. there's always a demand for pitching. 7 of the teams that make the playoffs this year are not going to win the World Series and will make their main priority pitching.

Remember - the teams losing the pitchers to FA have to sign people to fill that void too. Plus next year's FA pitching class is insane... team's will definitely be trying their hardest to sign a potential ace.
