Why Not..

Instead of getting into bidding wars with the big spenders in the Northeast and Midwest this offseason over the top available Starting Pitchers (which they all seem to prioritize over everything else), we focus on filling the holes in the lineup, which we probably wouldn't have to overpay for, and wait 'til next offseason, when the major spenders don't have a need for (the demand will be much lower), and the supply for starting pitching is bountiful to address the rotation?

You can't actually believe that the demand for starting pitching next offseason will be the same as this.

I think it will be. Remember - the teams losing the pitchers to FA have to sign people to fill that void too.

Plus next year's FA pitching class is insane... team's will definitely be trying their hardest to sign a potential ace.

Just out of curiosity - who are the pitching FA's for 2013?

Your execute your offseason strategy according to your team's pressing needs and not the shape of the free agent market. The team's most glaring need is starting pitching.
