Scott Boras, agente de Rodr?guez, explic? ayer que la fecha del 7 de diciembre es una que ellos le imponen a los Marlins a trav?s de una cl?usula del contrato. Boras agreg? que la cl?usula tambi?n indica que los Marlins no pueden ofrecerle un caso de arbitraje al receptor, lo que deja a los Marlins con una opci?n: firmar a Rodr?guez. November 27, 200322 yr IMO the Marlins will give in and offer that three year but it will be opitional, similar to that of Castillo. BUT they will NOT go four years with Pudge...I"ll be shocked
November 27, 200322 yr The most Pudge should get IMO is a 2 year offer with an option for a 3rd. It's just too risky to give a guaranteed money long term committment to a 30 something catcher that had been having injury problems before last season.
