April 20, 200323 yr When did Knotts ever throw 98mph. He never got that high. The highest he ever got was 94mph and averaging 92 http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/basebal...,1324867.column
April 20, 200323 yr When he was in Portland, I think the highest I ever saw him was at 96, so it's quite possible. It's better that he's a starter in Detroit, as that's the role he was used to in the minors.
April 20, 200323 yr so he is throwing 98... big deal.... he is still getting lit up like a Christmas tree.
April 20, 200323 yr so he is throwing 98... big deal.... he is still getting lit up like a Christmas tree. I thought I was the only one who noticed
April 20, 200323 yr of course that entire organization is being lit up like a forest fire.... the tigers are just sad. i enjoyed how reynolds said they should be contracted.... thats probably true.... are there any worthwhile prospects in that farm system even?
April 20, 200323 yr well Bonderman should still be in A Ball.... but they rished him to the 'bigs'.......big mistake Pena is solid, pitcher Mike Maroth has pitched well for them... Omar Infante is pretty good...Franklyn German could someday be a real good closer... most of those player above are in their Top 10 prospects now.... talk about rushing the youngsters
April 20, 200323 yr Pena they stole along with German in that Weaver deal if I am not mistaken. Munson is actually looking decent. They need to find out if Torres is for real or not out in center. The biggest problem... They have no pitching. The second biggest problem...they are having this small problem...called getting base hits. The Tiger greats now in charge could probably win more than this team.
