Logging Out upon Exiting

Featured Replies

On the desktop PC I'm using, I've got it saved to log me in whenever I come on to the site on here. However, every time I come back on, I'm signed out. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but may need to be looked at. [i do have the box saying "log in automatically" or whatever it is checked, I even have the name and password saved on this PC].

If it's only me, then don't worry about it, as it's not a terrible issue, but one that may need to be looked at.

... Hi mom!

Could it be a cookie issue? The only incident I've ever had similar to that was when IE crashes or my computer crashes and I get the blue screen of death..all the sites that I'm usually signed into, like this site and Netflix, suddenly have me signed out and I have to sign back in again.

It is just trying to fuck with you.

But seriously, is your browser set to automatically delete its cookies/clear its cache? It sounds to me like doing so on mobile is normal, but on your web browser it shouldn't do that. I can be on MB.com for months at a time without having to sign back in...

Internet explorer?! :(Sadly yeah..I do use Firefox also but every now and then with some sites I end up using IE..and IE 8 no less. You can tell it's on crutches and limping toward websites..at least that's the visual I get when loading a site heh

As for the cookie situation..I do think as the good Dr. stated, it might be getting cleared automatically when the browser is being closed. However it'd happen to all sites not just MB.com. So the question is, is it happening to other sites as well?
