Eovaldi Rehab Start

Featured Replies

Hopefully now when he gets healthy he will work on going deeper into games because if he is just going to be a 5 inning pitcher i think he might make a great closer.

The Marlins already have a 5 inning pitcher in Fernandez, still a promising start

Fernandez is already getting deeper into games and is having solid pitch counts doing so so im not too worried about his "work horse" future.

Eovaldi just throws too many pitches and that is a lot worse than an organization simply being cautious with a guy like Fernandez. Too often he has 90 pitches in the 5th for example and you just cant survive doing that.
