Long Shorts in Bball

Featured Replies

It's getting disgusting.

I'm currently watching The Penn Quakers and St. John's playing but am more intrested in Jameer Nelson's shorts that literally are touching the floor as he is forced to pull them up every two minutes.

I think it's time restrictions need to be placed on short heights in both The NCAA and The NBA because this is getting ridiculous when players are forced to continue to pull their pants up instead of concerning themselves with the game.

If they get as short as they were in the '70's, I will shoot myself.

If Basketball would get as good as it was in The Seventies, I would be filled with Joy.

I'm not talking about those limits, I'm talking about placing limits no lower than your knees but if you watch College BAsketball enough it go's way too much, when shorts are touch your shoe's and sometimes the ground, it's gone way too far.

The funny thing is... I think someone actually forced Nelson to pull his pants up as their dramatically higher than before but back to the topic of the long shorts...

I think it's too damn much when shorts getting near your ankles is considered the norm and an entire team has them about that low.

You don't look awkard with your shorts at your knees but some apparently feel that way.

i believe the NBA has limits. ive heard about Kobe, KG, and AI being fined for wearing shorts below the knees. im not sure but i think Indiana bball has limits, i dont think ive ever seen a hoosier with shorts below the knees.

i agree if you got to worry about holding your shorts up during a game than obviously you should get a smaller size (as long as i dont see any 80's or 70's type shorts out there. thats just wrong)

personally i dont like wearing shorts right at the knees, i normally try to get them below. i feel more comfortable that way for some reason

if they have regulations on shorts length in the NBA, i don't see why they couldn't do it in college hoops

there is no on-the-court advantage to having shorts that are too big, especially if they fall below the knees. if they fall below the knees, they actually hinder movement so i don't see why a school would want to put up with that. i've never seen shorts touching the floor, but if that is the case, there's also an injury risk here.

i agree with you, rune. they should make the length consistent. it sounds like the logical thing to do.

kinda childish to think that yall would freak out at short shorts....so they show leg. big deal. It doesnt look as goofy as wearing shorts halfway down your calf. Talk about gay! Are they shorts? Are they pants? Who knows!

i dont like my shorts that long, just a little past the knees.

ok then, i shall pull my shorts above the waist. thanks furman :thumbup

but plaid? :confused
