July 23, 201610 yr It's a 2-2 game in the 7th and the bullpen is fresh. Why not just go with your 3 best relievers 7, 8, & 9 and lose the game that way if you're going to lose it? Barraclough/Rodney/Ramos is the way to go right now. It's been pretty clear. I even did the whole "why is Phelps in" in the game thread before Phelps fucked up. Not sure what Mattingly was thinking. Even Wittgren's been pitching better than Phelps lately. Agreed with all that but you're making it sound like Phelps was a problem because it brought in Rodney. But now you're saying you'd have brought in Rodney anyways. I get your problem with Phelps but it sounds like you have a problem with Rodney being in there too and I don't get it because I know you like Rodney.
