December 15, 200322 yr the best name for a minor league hockey team is the Macon Whoopee (out of Macon, GA....the mecca for Southern Rock, btw hehe). Anyway, say that outloud...Macon Whoopee (Makin' whoopee).
December 15, 200322 yr Author I got tickets for 10$ outside Miami Arena like 10 minutes before the game. Bargain and lots of fun. I reccomend it to any sports fan!

December 16, 200322 yr used to be an echl named Pee Dee Pride. They are now the Florence Pride, but it was always causing giggles amongst the 7,000 in attendance in the TECO Arena in Estero, FL near Fort Myers at the Florida Everblades games.

That region of South Carolina is the Pee Dee region (named after the Pee Dee rivers--I think there is a little Pee Dee River, and a Pee Dee River). A good friend of mine hails from Dillon, SC...which is also in the Pee Dee region. Nice area.
