Jokersgoon
Expect rumors of a possible return to Miami.
Jokersgoon
I honestly think that’ll happen. Unless girardi is interested in that nats job.

SilverBullet
Wow. What a crazy offseason for managers. I don't think a manager swap happens though. I'd be super disappointed if Jeter tried that. Mattingly hasn't done anything to be fired and has expressed wanting to help rebuild this team. Girardi isn't better just by virtue of being the former Yankees manager. If Jeter's criteria for hiring or firing someone is just "Were they with the Yankees or not" then we have a serious problem here.

Exasperated
Ig he doesn't take the Gnats job, what is his contract status with the Yankees, and does he just sit a year out & wait for the inevitable firings in 2018 ? If he's owed money he'll still get paid by the Yankees.

Bret Hart
I think Nats will offer a job immed.
SilverBullet
I think Nats will offer a job immed. They're leaning towards hiring Dave Martinez. I think Girardi takes a year or two off and becomes a virtual lock to manage the next time we have one of these offseasons with multiple managerial changes. Exasperated
Girardi's contract ended this season, he isn't owed money. Hmmmmm, then he will be looking for a job......very interesting then. Gnats or is the Toronto job still open ?
