July 24, 20188 yr This is what I said last week, those who are obsessed with the new-age stats talk down to people who aren't fluent in them. Anyway, you said he didn't have a hit in the past month so I was only responding to that. I didn't read over his stats for the entire month. For me the complex stats (wRC+, and even iso to some degree) are just easy to type. You can explain how one gets to those weighted values via the base stats. It just takes more words. I get the dislike for things like WAR and wRC+ they seem to dilute the game to numbers. but if you look at the wrong base stat you can be lied to. and that is worse than turning the game into a series of numbers.
