August 2, 20197 yr I read the other day that Lewin Diaz was told to lose weight by the Twins before the 2018 season. He went a little over zealous and came into camp a bit skinny. This lead to the poor numbers last year that dropped his prospect status. He has had better conditioning this year and the numbers are panning out. I was at first worried about the back and forth performances by Diaz, but if it is merely a conditioning issue, then Diaz is underrated as a prospect and this could go down as a steal for the Marlins.
