ROM patches

Featured Replies

I was watching some youtube channels and apparently for those of you that enjoy your emulations there are ROM patches that various people have made that can enhance, alter, update, etc older games for a fresh experience.  I am currently playing one for the old SNES classic Final Fantasy VI (also known as FF3 here in the U.S.) and it's pretty neat seeing a totally new translation which includes enemy names, spells, espers, etc.  There are quite a few games out there apparently that have been updated in one form or another. Anyone else into this scene?
