January 4, 200422 yr If I remember correctly, I had the Boys at 8-8 or 7-9. So I wasn't entirely surprised at their success. But yes I will admit they were very good this year, but once they got into the playoffs almost everyone I've talked to was stunned they lost to Carolina. But I predicted Carolina would whipe out the Boys. Still Dallas had a great season, and Cowboys fans can do nothing but hold their heads up high.
January 4, 200422 yr i was not SHOCKED they lost but i was disapointed, any fan wants the team they follow to win every game but it just doesnt happen. how can a team that wasnt even expected to win 7 games be overrated? use some LOGIC. succesful season and a great steping stone for the future. :thumbup
January 4, 200422 yr Well they were overhyped and overrated by the media. So then the average fan of football would think that they were a really good team and had a good shot of going deep into the playoffs which was obviously not true. The media was so obessed with the so called Americas Team to succeed that they forgot to notice they werent really that good in the first place.
January 5, 200422 yr Great One stole the words right out of my mouth. The media over hyped them because it had been so long since their last Playoff Appearance. Still a great season by the Cowboys and I applaud them for what they achieved this year. Just get a QB and RB and their set to contend with the big boys in the NFC like Philly, St. Louis, Green Bay, and Carolina
January 5, 200422 yr Cowboys are just one good RB away from being a very good team even if they stick with Carter at QB.
