UF, FSU, UM: Which is more annoying?

if your a jew or a black guy named billy living on a hill, would you be considered a hillbilly?

here's another one ive been thinking about after someone was telling me about someone with a fake leg? if you take off your fake leg and hit someone with it would it be considered a kick?

i figured since this thread doesnt make sense anymore i would just finish it off

hitting someone with a fake leg

now this topic is complete

UF and FSU sell out their games because they are better than Canes' games ( nicer stadium, fan friendly crowd) and because the team plays on campus and in a bigger university.

There is nothing to do except go to games at UF and FSU?

What is so much better about Miami? Instead of going to games you can go lay on the beach or go to a nightclub? I don't get it. I mean, Gainesville and Tallahasse are boring compared to Miami, but what is there to do in Miami instead of going to a football game?

The most annoying thing is either the canes thing or the chomp. How do you get annoyed by the Gator thing? It isn't noisy, just close your eyes.

you idiot

since when does fsu have a fan friendly crowd?

orange bowl is true home field advantage-if you dont like the canes, then get out!

and remember, life in tally and gainseville revolves around college football. the majority of people in miami either dont like college football or dont want to go to um 70, temple 0 Fan friendly crowd: meaning less drugs, beer, better parking, better family stadium atmosphere

And to the people that disagree with me when I say that Miami fans just don't care: read this board. People are saying how they'd rather go do boring stuff than go to a great (arguably) college atmosphere to see a top ranked team. If you don't want to do that, you don't care. This isn't an insult, it is true.

And not everyone is a hillbillie in Gainesville. Don't talk about stuff like that especially when the rest of the country (not me but the rest of America) looks at the OB crowd as a bunch of immigrants or hicks. If you are going to talk about other people like that, you have gotta think what other people think about you.

its the atmosphere that makes watching a blowout great

and you mean to tell me the majority of uf students dont get wasted before home games? dont be so naive

as i said before, the ob is the ultimate home field advantage-if you dont like it, then get out!

Yeah the majority of UF students are probably drunk before kickoff. BUT, 1/2 the crowd is alumni and respectable people that aren't fighting and jumping off balconies (had to throw that one in).

If you don't want to go see your team at a great atmosphere while they are top ranked, you don't care.

And if you'd rather go to a lousyass heat game or panthers game rather than a canes' game you don't care.

Canes' fans are like SoFla sports' fans: they suck!

dude, every time you repeat that, you really kill your argument by completely not noting the differences between the two cities. i'm surprised that you'd use such rationale since you are FROM miami, so you would be the first to know that it isn't a college town. believe it or not, but non-college towns ALWAYS have attendance problems for college football games. it's not because people don't care about the team, but more the fact that the city doesn't revolve around one school & team.

and UM's student body and alumni class are less than 1/6 the size of UF's, and the stadium isn't even on campus. so why are we even discussing this?

regardless, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume that you don't know a whole lot about how sports tickets and college sports work.

i'm a hurricanes fan and a dolphins fan. despite the fact that i root for the canes more, i'm intelligent enough to realize that going to a hard-fought NFL football game might be more entertaining than going to a 70-0 UM blowout. at what point are sports fans supposed to be morons? yeah, i suck because i can like more than 1 sports team at once in a sports-filled market.

If you were so intellingent about not going to 70-0 UM blowouts how about Rutgers winning at halftime, UM winning by 7 against Srycuse.

but its not a college atmosphere-its a party atmosphere

no other stadium has more music over the speaker than band music

quit beating up um fans: this is not a college town, and the obowl does not have a college atmosphere

big cities never have gr8 attendence

just look at ucla (la), usc (la), washington (seattle)

all three, like um, have a respectable following, over the last 10 yrs have been contending (esp. usc) and all 3 have crappy attendence

and whoever thought 2003 um attendence was bad, get ready for 2005: no fsu, no vt, no uf

and whoever thought 2003 um attendence was bad, get ready for 2005: no fsu, no vt, no uf

i'm almost positive our opener in 2005 is against fsu, just as it is in 2004. the home team will be swapped.
