Refuse to even interview the person the players want until after getting turned down by these 3. Interview Bill Callahan. Nebraska still is proving how stupid they are. If they fired Solich becuase he refused to make the offense a real 20th century offense, then thats one thing, but that has never been said. Nebraska can be coached by God himself, unless they ditch the option they will still not be a title contender, like they think is their birthright. Sometimes people are not very bright and/or are very stubborn. I am still waiting for this great new coach that is so much better than Solich. oh yeah, I hear Spurrier would turn down that job also.

January 7, 200422 yr They did't even offer Saunders or Nutt. They might have if they went on the Husker Jet but they did't. Also USC did't get their first Choice neither did Ohio State and look at them now. Yes SP is making the Huskers look awful right now but he will find the right guy.
January 7, 200422 yr Author bottom line, unless they transform that offense to something modern, they will start a slow decline into nothing more than a solid but not great team. if not worse.
