Stanton wanted to keep it together at least one more year - even went to Jeter personally and requested it - then once Dee got shipped out, he realized nothing was going to stay the same so he gave the team the list.

I remember “the list” now that you mentioned it.

Jeter was as unprofessional as it gets when he took over. If he would have been upfront and transparent then the blame would have shifted more to Loria I think.

For me this time was the worst memories I have with the marlins.
