In fact this might even be a historic fact.Since it overall not that many sons of former major leaguer actually have made it to the MLB. And the ones that have are like been scattered around the league over the years (the Prince Fielder, Tony Gwynn Jr, Tim Raines jr, Aaron Boone, Brett Boone. Etc) So I don’t know if there has been a team with at least 3 players whose dad also played for that team in the past.I know several seasons ago the Blue jays had their 3 sons of former major leaguers with Biggio, Guerrero and Bichette and even that was quite a rare occasion. But as far as I know none of their fathers played for the Blue Jays in the past.I don’t know for sure.. but I’m guessing there’s at least a 25% chance that this is the first time in mlb history that one team had the sons of 3 former players of that same team on the mlb roster.Again a completely useless stat and way too time consuming to research.. although I’m sure some baseball nerd out there will look it up and probably that fact will be mentioned in an article at some point in the year. You heard it here first fellas! 😂
