May 5, 200323 yr Tuesday:Jason Schmidt(3-0, 1.77era) vs Carl Pavano(2-4, 4.66era) now on paper, Tuesday's game looks to be heavy in favor of the Giants...... but......Jason Schmidt will make his first start since his mother died(brain tumor) so his head may not be into the game......*note: im not saying its a good advantage, but it may mess Schmidt up* it wouldnt let me put 0 wins....so if thats what you think...just post it Shmidt pitched a complete game shutout with 12 strikeouts the other night - it was his first game back after his mother's death.
