Marlins Comment on Gays in Baseball

Never said you couldnt. I am questioning why you are so bitter - why do you take something so personally that you have no personal attachment to? Maybe you should really think about that first. And perhaps, this is not the place to discuss it. But please, dont try and make something out of this that is not.

Yeah this is the wrong place but oh well.

I know I have absolutely no attachment to this at all but it makes me so bitter because it's so unfair. I know the world is not a fair place - you don't have to tell me that either - but still, I think the way some people are judging or treating the whole situation is so ignorant and hypocritical and if something pisses me off, then I'm gonna say it whether I can relate to it or not. The fact that there's so many forums about this and a waste of an article written, to me - this shouldn't even be an issue. Why is it an issue? Whoever knew someone's sexual preference can cause so much problems?

But whatever.

LeBatard could have written a report on something usefu, like ticket sales or a Spring Training report. Why does he always look for controversy? Thankfully our team is smart enough to know LeBatard's game.

maybe he just wanted to write about something different and applicable to the times considering all the talk about gay marriages now. not everything is a damn conspiracy

baseball is a game. the average baseball fan doesn't care what the players think about gays or gay marriage, they care about what they think the team is going to do in the different places they needed to work on over the offseason.

baseball is game but you know this is something people have been wondering about for a while and now with the current events which include the japanese pitcher who did the gay porn he probably just wanted to write about it.

I think it would be neat if ARod was gay ... the dude is good looking, the best player in baseball playing on the best team in the world ... in the spotlight of NY ... c'mon its a match made in heaven

ohh and he has intercourse with his Bi- teamate .... Derek Jeter

Now thats just weird... if that would happen. Two of the most popular players in the league being gay and having relations with each other...

if only he wasn't married

I can bash the Herald with the best of them when they deserve it but I thought LeBatard's column was totally acceptable and appropriate in light of current events.

I agree. I think most people just wanna bash Lebatard on anything he writes even if it is a good piece.
