2026 uniforms
Pretty sure the blue is back to just spring training now(?) Those city connects they wore tonight are rough. It wouldn’t be hard to make an awesome vice-esque set, but they really missed the mark on these (especially the two tone 305 hats. Man those are bad).

2025/26 Off-season
Yankees 15, 16, and 23 ranked prospects. Seems pretty light/unnecessary. Or, they just don’t have any confidence weathers can stay healthy (or that he’s even good when healthy). Hopefully White and Snelling are ready to go sooner than later.

Marlins Trade Edward Cabrera to the Cubs
There’s an intriguing amount of power in this lineup now. Conine at 1st is the real X factor. Can he stay healthy? Is he even good if so? If not at least there are some options. Morel, moving Ramirez there if Mack is ready, moving Norby there is De Los Santos is ready. I like this trade and how the team is shaping up. One more corner infield option and some more bullpen depth feels feasible and I’ll feel pretty good.

Fish sign Christopher Morel
In a vaccuum, without the context of whether or not this is our “big move” for the offseason, signing Morel is a good move. He probably cost very little, is quite talented with 30hr potential, and is only 26. There’s not really any risk here, only potential upside. Let’s just hope it’s not the only way they’re planning to address 1B.

2025/26 Off-season
With regards to bullpen, a team like the marlins should sign 2-3 RPs who have shown success at some point in their careers but are coming off down years and so are cheap. Bullpen arms go for a ransom at the deadline every year. And like you say, are so volatile there’s a decent chance at least one rebounds. Throw a bunch of sh** at the wall, hope one or two bounce back, and then if you’re not in the hunt trade them at the deadline for a good prospect. I’ve always wondered why they don’t do this more. It’s a pretty low risk way to try and accelerate prospect accumulation.
