Tell that guy that even with sucking his stomach in.. he’s not foolin anyone and he still needs to cut down on the fries and sodas.

Aren’t you a little old to be going to spring break?

Well, well, well… Look who’s here. Where have you been all opening week?

Well.. I’m glad for Berti to be honest. Why waste another year of your very short MLB career with this team. I’m actually hoping for the first time in my life that the Yankees win the WS this year and just for Jon Berti’s sake. 😂

I have to give credit to the fans even the casual fans.. it seems to be a well established fact that Avi Garcia is a terrible player.. sometimes over the past several years I have thought to myself “does anyone else besides me and some of the members of mb.com notice this?” Glad to see the rest of the world has finally caught up. 😂

You guys are such a weird couple.. first the whole SOJ shenanigans and then now ol @pollythewog switching to his other tab on his browser to tweet and then come to this forum and post a screenshot of that tweet.

Whoever predicted that the Marlins would go 62-100 this year is starting to look on the money.

MLB draft is stupid anyways.. even the first pick won’t be helpful until 2027 at the earliest. Tanking for a high draft pick in MLB is pretty terrible strategy.

Probably will get Skip out of here by May and get Kap in there this year.

@Rydawg? Is that how this works?

Aren’t you a vegan?

I’m so happy that Nick Gordon just didn’t give af when they put that stupid sombrero on his head in the dugout he just let it fall right off his head and didn’t care. Enough with the stupid hat. Can’t wait for that to be over. Stupid and annoying.

To the zoo. Bronx Zoo

Wow.. Just turned on the game and read the recap so far.. WTF guys? And also.. Marlins inching closer to that alphabetical lineup today Arraez Bell Burger DLC Chisholm 😂

Also as I mentioned last night which is of course common sense but for some who were happy that Avi was benched yesterday and were hoping that it was going to be a theme for this year I’m here to say once again it was solely because of the Pirates starter being right handed. As you can see today the lefty starter for the Pirates will have Avi batting in the lineup. Thankfully there are a higher number of RHP in MLB.. but knowing how the Marlins are I think that eventually Avi will continue being in there over Sanchez most of the time even vs RHP. Sheesh.. always mind boggling every season how someone can still be so terrible at their job and yet still get to keep it and make a lot more money than other people who actually would do a better job than him.

Let’s not overlook that Burger is playing 1B. Marlins really missed the opportunity today to have their lineup in alphabetical order: 1. Arraez 2. Anderson 3. Bell 4. Bride 5. Burger 6. Chisholm 7. DeLaCruz 8. Fortes 9. Garcia

Nonsense.. It’s just a matter of one day waking up and deciding that you are tired of the same thing year after year from the Marlins.. and then you let go of the thought that you have to be a Marlins fan and you have a new thought in your head that now you are a Diamondbacks fan and then you turn on a dbacks game and start watching and then you buy a new hat and some tickets for the DBacks and then you join a DBacks forum and they actually make you a Mod and you feel like you have been waiting for that moment for years.. But then late one night you’re flipping around your MLB tv and you come across a Marlins vs Giants game and you have a realization and you say to the Marlins: I can’t let you go, baby! And then you throw away all your Dbacks stuff, rip up those Dback tickets and then come back to the Marlins again and rejoin this forum and start watching the Marlins again and you feel happy and it feels good like you’re putting on your favorite pair of jeans but then.. time passes and after another 3 years of the same old same old from the Fish with no changes or playoff appearances you find you saying to yourself: ”I wish I could stop following the Marlins and fall in love with the DBacks since it's the local team as they are pretty exciting, have a nice stadium, and seem to care about their team and fans. But I mate for life....sigh.” 😂

Who will do the honors and make the first post game thread of the year?

Well there’s one Bride who couldn’t score on their first night.

Ugh

Who is that computer repairman batting?

Good job TA! Happy for that signing for sure!

My only hope for this year is the fact that Bendix is here and he had nothing to do with signing Avi. So he has no connection or emotional attachment to him. I’m only hoping he would use common sense and perhaps trade him as soon as possible. All he is doing is standing in the way of other players getting a chance.

Well it was a fun season guys!
