I can't believe this is such a hot topic. Having the Mermaids is awesome... For the adults, it's nice eye candy. And for the kids, they just see them as fun and they feel like they're closer to the team. I have a friend with a 7 year old son and when he sees the Mermaids, he simply says "Hey now"... There's no harm and if it makes the atmosphere a little more entertaining and fun, then why knock it. They're not giving anyone lapdances, and they're not doing anything that would deserve anything higher than a PG rating. Did you go to Carlos and Charlies?????? That cruise was sooooooooooooooooo much fun. Regardless of what players were there, it was an awesome time. well i got back from the cruise about 10am and i had a great time. Lenny wasn't the pimp at all, all i saw him do was play craps at the casino. The true pimp was Chris Aguila this guy had a girl every different night. they were drop dead gorgeous girls. Chris was the coolest we hung out a couple times he bought me some drinks and stuff like that, he was really down to earth. Mike redmond was cool, but he was with his family so i didn't bother him to much same with Matt Perisho. Last night a group of us stayed up till 5am with Jeff Cox (third base coach) he was schooling me on baseball and a bunch of other stuff. I asked him who is the biggest a**hole on the team, he said with out a doubt Josh beckett, he calls him the Village Idiot.
