8/1/2006 Marlins vs Mets
HIGH FIVE THE CROWD. :lol Is it funny because he missed the ball, or is it funny because there's no crowd?

Kaz Matsui to the Rockies
Mets could've gotten more for Kaz. I agree. Kaz is def struggling but imagine if he puts it all together. He has a lot of raw talent. Whatever happened to Shinjo, the Orange Wristband Bandit? I kinda liked him. He um...I don't know how to explain it...just watch... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QbXSAfXfDM&search=Shinjo

BREAKOUT MARLINS!
David Wright, who nearly doubled his home run output (14 to 27) and more than tripled his RBIs (40 to 102) from 2004 to '05. This guy's just a dope...

Bigtime Trade Rumor
As a Met fan i"m not really sure what to make of this...this is one of those that you just sit and stare at for a while. The impetus behind trading Manny Ramirez is to free up money to go after another big bat and to acquire someone to play centerfield...I think Manny being dealt relies heavily on Johnny Damon's offseason demands. If the Mets could just acquire Manny by taking on his salary and sending a CFer and some prospects to the BoSox why wouldn't they do that? Why get Delgado and send Manny to a division rival? And where are the Blue Jays getting all this money? They're picking up some awfully hefty contracts, especially in Pavano and Matsui. The Yankees motivation is apparently to dump salary if these are the players involved...that seems unlikely. They could easily solve their CF issue by throwing heaps of money at Damon in the offseason. and the marlins will trade a high paid productive 1b for an even higher paid Manny Ramirez? Will you guys be going with an 8 man rotation next year? This really seems like complete rubbish...I could see the Twins being involved in some larger deal with Cano/Hunter as the main pieces but it seems like some of these teams are just trading for the sake of trading.

Pick your Pony
Does a leadoff man really need to be 'feared'? Ricky Henderson was - just ask Ricky If we sign Andruw, it would be interesting to see how the lineup would shake out. These are two of the hottest rumors going around and frankly I'm not excited about either. Don't tell the braves that you plan on signing him...they have an option for him in 2007...they might want to pick it up.

Boston-Oakland trade

MLB Merchandise Sales up almost 100%
certainly nice to see cabby up on that list 725519[/snapback] You do realize that there are 16 names on the list posted in this thread. If you actually click the link and look at the list there are (rightfully) no Marlins on the list.
