Get a proven point guard and explosive power forward. Riles will contain Sheed and Demon, if he really still is a decent coach. Portland gets its favorite son back, along with a defensive-minded center. Fits Cheeks plan perfectly. I really would like to see Lowell back with Fish.I don't mind seeing Castillo go and it will be easier to find a servicible 2nd basement (Don't we have some one in AAA that people were talking about?).Trade Lee for something even if is a bar of soap.The Fish need to resign Encarnancion and they should think about playing cabrera in LF or just put him back to SS.Bring up Adrian Gonzales to play 1b to fill in for D.Lee.

If they really make a serious run at Vlad than I wouldn't mind seeing Lowell traded but I'm not sure the Marlins have the funds to go after Vlad.Vlad is really a free agent?I ddin't see him on the FA list for upcoming year.

Mike Lowell who projected salary for next year is not all that high and he should stay in a Marlins uniform.I hope they are not stupid enough to keep Lee and pay him instead of keeping Lowell.I would like to see if Cabrerra can play LF or go back to SS.

Personally, I would have LOVED to have seen Arnsberg pop any one of the Three Stooges (Loria, Samson, or Beinfest). I also would have LOVED to find out who Loria, Corly, and Moe told Torborg's kid he was fired. At the game, I really thought that shot Alex hit in the 9th was going to go over Preston's head and tie the game. The 5th run Colorado scored really hurt too. A leadoff walk, passed ball, ground ball, and then a sac fly. 1 run on no hits. I just hate those. Can anyone explain to me why Ozzie Guillen sent Encarnacion the first time he was thrown out? I mean Juan was out by a mile. Don't feel too left out jonnylons, it was pretty certain that Hollandsworth would pick it up a little bit eventually. The bottom line is that he's nowhere near as bad as his april stats. (but he's not going to hit 3 doubles most nights either!) Too bad no one in front of him could get on base for those hits to do any good. It is freaking insane that Encarnacion and Hollandsworth went a combined 7-for-7, yet had NO RBIs! Hello Mr. Lowell and Mr. Lee? Torborg, please move Derek Lee to 8th in the batting order. There's really no other choice. Alex, Encarnacion, even Hollandsworth are all locked in right now, while Lee is flailing away at pitches. I like the guy and I'm praying for him to bust out, but it just ain't happening. If we don't win tomorrow to take this series, the downward spiral will continue... I agree.
