One of the analysts said that when Wakefield pitches as well as he did last night, teams tend to slump with the bats for the next few games because of the difference in speeds. This directly effects the marlins seeing as how we are starting a series with the cubs after a fantastic outting by Wakefield. Anyone have a opinion on the topic.
The reason I started this topic was because I am waiting for the blockbuster trade that is going to happen in the next few days and talking about non-trade issues may help speed up the process.
