God I can't believe the Rangers are dumber than Angelos. Ponson is the worst starting pitcher in baseball! Not that I needed to prove that to any of you all.. That being said, Im still skeptical as long as ANgelos is involved. The man simply CANNOT pull a trigger. However, honestly in this case the O's are the only team desperate to take on a guy who is in reality a 4th starter who as No 1 potential. We need arms no matter how maddeningle inconsistent. Because NO ONE, and i mean NO ONE, Burnett in his worst month is 10 times better than Ponson. What is Texas thinking? Id crap my pants if we get a hitter from Texas too..... I doubt all of this because I have been beaten into submission by a decade of Angelos mismanagement :confused

Because we're just about the only team desperate for a starting pitcher. Burnett is an upgrade in Baltimore. Does the name Sidney Ponson mean anything to you! :confused

" OK got it - Bigbie is nothing above solid no doubt.... Julio...yeah....we HAVE to get rid of him before his ERA gets above 5 Penn....he won't help you this year or even next but he'll be nice in 2-3 years. Im just saying is all! I really want Burnett and Im trying to convince my friends of this trade but they all dont want to give up on Penn

So what do you guys think of the trade overall? To me AJ is a guy with lights out stuff but tends to have lots of walk if not hits. But like you said, being the O's, we're desperate and we need a power arm (besides Cabrera) to compliment Bedard. So who gets the better of the deal in your opinions? Granted Im beginning to doubt the O's will make this happne b/c ANgelos is such a prick but still.... I think its pretty good for you in that: Bigbie is a solid starting leftfielder. He can give you .275, 20 HR, and 80 RBI and he's good defensively and runs real well too. Julio....well the guy needs a change of scenery b/c he has great stuff but man he just seems to choke up here whenver the challenge becomes too great Penn - Is our best minor league pitcher and he's done well this year in at Camden yards despite being only 20. I think he's gonna be real good but prolly 2-3 years down the road for that. He's struggled for the past month since the O's sent him back down b/c the kid stopped trusting his fastball. Anyway, so thats my take on my players - So who gets the better end of the deal here IF IF IF IF IF this actually goes down????

Hey guys Im new here and dont be mad at me but yes I am an Orioles fan. Please dont shoot! I honestly like your team because 1 I prefer national league ball and 2 i like to watch good young pitching which is what you guys have always seem to had. That said, I am the most anxious O's fan because being an O's fan I am desperate for them to make a move. We need a frontline pitcher and it seems that AJ is best that is out there. So I ask you objectively, after reading thru some post on here first, to give me your take on AJ and how well do you think he could do in the AL East as our first or second starter. I appreciate all insights b/c as much as I've watched him pitch I don't really know much about how he is as a teammate, the intangible stuff etc etc... Thanks for your time.
