Marlins vs Cards---8:05---at Busch Stadium
Willis hasn't had very much success against some of the Cardinals hitters. He did horrible against the Cards in spring training. Like I said, Plain and simple....The cardinals can hit him.

BEST MARLIN STARTING PITCHER?
where's Dempster and Pat Rapp? They are both 1 and 2 in all time wins. That's because Rapp was with the Marlins from 93-97. He wasn't that outstanding. He just had many appearences with the Marlins.

Best Marlins Manager of All Time
Jack hasnt won anything..... yet that alone speaks for Leyland The player's won the World Series not Jim. Anyone could have managed the 97' team and have done well. Look at Jim in 98'..IMO he wasn't very good....He would overwork pitchers beyond their limit..He practically made 165 pound Jesus Sanchez throw as many pitches as he weighed. Jack carried the Reds to win 90+ in 99'. Answer me this, Who would you rather have managing this team right now....Jim or Jack?

Best Marlins Manager of All Time
Yes, It's a fact that Jack has done the best with us so far. Yes, Leyland won with a World Series team but he didn't really carry them and bring the team together like Jack has.. You saw how Torborg couldn't make this team a winner...This team has pretty much the same player's as when Torborg was here, Which shows how good of a manager Jack is. It's Jack for a fact.

SCIAMBI UP FOR METS JOB
Thank You Arnie. I agree, we need to work with what we have for next season and that will be Van Horne, Kasper and Hutton. (Minervini is pregame host only) In previous seasons we had a similar situation with Angel, O'Brien, and Hutton. (Randolph was pregame host only) Kasper is better suited for radio than Boog in my opinion and Van Horne is better suited for TV than Minervini. The rotation would be like 1997 and be nice. I doubt Boog won't get the job, he likes the Mets and is a good talent. WFAN would have to have a very good reason not to hire him. Agreed...The rotation of analyists worked out well.

All I can say is that whatever you guys are smoking that makes you think that the Fish are going to catch the Fightins, I need some. I really suggest you leave now.... :plain- NEXT SERIES IS CRUCIAL.
The Milwaulkee series is the big chance for the Marlin's to gain ground on the Phillies(Or go ahead.) We are facing one of the worst teams in baseball. They are facing one of the best.- QB CONTREVERSY
A lot of people I've spoken with want Griese to be the starting QB only because of Bob Griese... I do however think Brian is overrated and that Fielder is a better QB. I go with Fiedler.- New Post Link Feature
That's great. Thanks Admin. :thumbup- Palmeiro to Cubs?
Palmiero used to play on the Cubs early in his career.- What you think ?
- A Castillo-Renteria reunion?
Obviously....Which leads me to belive that the Lee-Conine deal may go down in the offseason... If my sources are correct Lee makes over 9 million next year. well, i didnt know that conine could veto a trade next year, like ramp said, but if that weren't the case, or if conine decidec he would come to s. florida again, i think the marlins could get more out of the O's for lee. Lee should command 2-3 players, not outstanding players, but solid, i think lee should command one mlb guy and atleast a grade B prospect. IMO, does that seem resonable to everyone?? cause im kinda talking out of my a$$, it just makes sense to me... I would be good to re-sign Castillo then trade Lee for Conine... But Conine won't come here. He said it himself he wants to stay in Baltimore.- A Castillo-Renteria reunion?
in the offseason, Conine will be a 10-5 guy, meaning he can void any trade.... i would think Conine would stay in BAL True...Forget it. Conine loves Baltimore, I remember reading an article when the Lee-Conine trade was getting hype, In the article he commented and stated he wanted to stay in Baltimore but had no say in the deal. - NEXT SERIES IS CRUCIAL.
