i mentioned Burnett because we can use him being on the DL to callup anyone from the minors the same way the angels did with Rodriguez last october.

The Time Is Now! i was just wondering what players will be on our pstseason roster? because of a few injuries and late callups we got a few extra players eligable.another question is how many pitchers will Jack take with him for a playoff series? the sure thing players are: Pierre, Castillo, Pudge, Lee, Juan Enc, A Gone, Miggy, Conine, and hopefully Lowell can heal up. the bench gets a little questionable with the availability of Harris, Struglesworth, A Fox, Mordi, Redmond, Castro and Banker. thats 17 position players. most teams take 14 players and 11 pitchers. pitchers eligable are: Beckett, Penny, D-Train, Redman, Pavano, Loop, UUU, Bump, Tejera, C Fox, Helling Phelps, and i believe since Burnett, Olsen, AA and Spooney has been on the DL they are eligable or we can use the spots for callups if they cant make it back.

ok, ok, ok, it seems like all of the "experts" dont like this deal because of what we gave up. I would have prefered to hold onto Bautista in the long run BUT this move is done for the playoff run and like many people on this board have written if we get to the playoffs it is all worth it. prospects arent a sure thing, what if Bautista ends up being the next Carl Pavano? Just a few positive words to remember.

Wild Card. our best option is probably Miggy @ 3rd and a Strugglesworth/Banker platoon in LF. but you never know what callup might get hot down the stretch.

the game itself was disapointing but the experience was a fun one. I saw about 10 total marlins fans (unless they where hiding) not many cheers for the Fish other than Pudge and Dontrelle. heres the pic from my seat ... it truly is a great stadium and there is no bad seat.
