Mets @ Marlins 3-14
Does anyone know what happened to Yunel Escobar? or was he just pulled from the Phi/Atl game for no apparent reason.

#1. Nobody gives a sh*t that they're one of two original NBA teams. #2. D-Wade still isn't 100% from his injury and even so he's still putting up pretty much the same numbers. If the Heat is able to get either Beasley or Rose in the draft, a lineup that includes Wade, Beasley/Rose, and Shawn Marion should be enough to get them in the playoffs. BTW they already have 1 championship with Udonis in the front court. #3. The old ass Mets ain't gonna be winning anything anytime soon. Even with the addition of Santana, the rest of the rotation is still pretty crappy and the Marlins will end their season again. #4. Yes, you are a troll. Stop living on message boards and get a life. oh yes, I post probably once every 5 days here. I really live on this forum, well that's irrelevant in this argument. 1. That's history numb nuts. 2. Yeah, and even if he was 100% you'd be lying to yourself if you think he hasn't lost explosiveness and obviously he's VERY injury prone. How are you so sure that beasley or rose are both coming out (even though they probably will) and how do you know the heat are going to get a top 2 pick? The worst NBA record has won the lottery once in the past 7 years I believe. You had Shaq during your 1 championship year and DWhistle got every phantom call. Haslem is average at best. 3. Now your just saying it to say it. The mets have undoubtedly a top 5 rotation in baseball. We add the best pitcher in baseball, a lefty in his prime. Pedro is now healthy, and we have 2 15 game winners who are in their mid 20s. El Duque is a dinasour and Pelfrey is inconsistent, i'll give you that but we were still 16-8 in the games El Duque started. 4. I'm not a troll. 1. That might be history, but i'm guessing you'd be the ONLY person that would know or care about that. 2. He hasn't been as explosive since he's not 100% yet he's still putting up pretty much the same numbers so whatever. 3. You would be kidding yourself if you think Pedro will be anything but average even if he is healthy. 4. You're a troll so go back under the bridge and keep trying to catch the three billy goats. 1. This is a Marlin forum. This is Florida, a state where no one has any knowledge about the game of basketball. I'm just trying to inform you guys. 2. He's still a great player but come on now. This is not the same guy from 2005-2006. He has lost a step, his jumpshot is still erratic and he averages damn near 5 turnovers a game. I like DWhistle but he isnt the same player since the title run because he's too injury prone and he doesnt have a good enough jumpshot to change his game. 3. Yes he's so average. Did you know that his ERA was 2 runs less then the league average last year? Even after being 1 year removed from rotator cuff surgery? He's only going to be greater as he gets healthier. 4. Snooze.

Give me a break! By Star's reasoning, I guess Cincinnati is the mecca of baseball. Face facts: The Knicks haven't been relevant in the NBA since Ewing left, and even with Ewing they never won jack sh*t. The Knicks don't matter right now, and have not mattered for a long time. That is fact. Who cares that they were an original team? And yea, Miami fans in general suck. So what? How does that make a difference to the product we put on the field/court? The Heat suck right now too, but at least they have actually won something in your lifetime. yes the knicks are irrelevant, top 7 every year in total league attendance damn near every year since they have existed. There is no denying that we are terrible and will continue to suck until Isiah Thomas is fire but you're lying to yourself if you don't think that the Knicks aren't a marquee franchise in the NBA. Imagine if we were actually mediocre, we'd probably lead the league in attendance. And trust me, anything is possible in the NBA for a team to get better especially in the east. It'l take luck and a GM with a plan. Just look at Portland, luck and a GM with a plan. Hell even Ainge, that squeal got lucky when McHale threw him KG. If the Knicks get a new GM, Colangelo or Kiki, hell I'd take Walsh, id fully expect us to be back in contention within 3-5 years.

D Whistle, most overrated player in the NBA aside of Tracy McGriddles. Breaking down as well. at least your knicks are making the playoffs this year! :thumbup The heat will not win the lottery and IF Isiah gets fired, the Knicks will be in contention faster then the Heat. The heat won a championship because David Stern had to protect a young star who is fading now. All those calls DWhistle got was just terrible, you're a blind homer if you don't realize that your ship' is tainted. D Whistle, most overrated player in the NBA aside of Tracy McGriddles. Breaking down as well. Next year your going to eat crow. For what? The dude is breaking down. What explosiveness? His jump shot is mediocre at best, dude is lucky he gets calls. D Whistle, most overrated player in the NBA aside of Tracy McGriddles. Breaking down as well. Hahahaha, thats funny, coming from a Muts and Knicks fan.... hahahahaha hahahhahaha funny guy The Knicks are one of the 2 only NBA teams who played in their original city and have a great history. Nuff said'. No need to get ignorant now. The Knicks are a total joke that hasnt won an NBA title in 35 years, a playoff game in 8 years, has the worst Front Office in the game, and is 1 tainted Draft Lottery from being completely irrelevant over the last 20+ years. And the heat are more relevant then the Knicks over the last 20+ years. New York is the mecca of basketball you fool. The heat, hell all of you miami scum are nothing but fair weather fans. Just look at attendance numbers, it's pretty laughable. The Marlins have like 5 fans, hell there are games with god damn $1 tickets. The heat, 2 years removed from a title, do they even count in the NBA? Hell, they probably can't beat UNC. And your "superstar" is breaking down as we speak. #1. New York is the mecca of basketball on the streets, not at MSG #2. The Heat will be right back in contention next year and will win another title before the Knicks. #3. The Marlins may only have 5 fans, but they have just as many titles as the Mutts #4. Stop being a f***ing loser and trolling other people's message boards. Go make love to your boyfriend or tell him to take you out. #1. One of two original NBA teams, NUFF SAID. #2. Heat will be in contention? that's pretty much laughable. Look at your TEAM. DWade isnt half the player he's made out to be. He shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath with LeBron and Kobe because if it was their team, they would have SO Much more then 11 wins. I really doubt the heat will be in championship contention anytime soon, with the likes of Mark Blount and Udonis haslem in your front court. #3. I agree. The mets have been bad in stretches but I really think we will be in the running for a championship as long as Wright and Reyes are in Mets unis. #4. Trolling? GTFO, I contribute on every board. Don't be mad at me because the Heat suck and the Marlins traded their best player.

1st Top notch FA? Chances are the two best FAs that would be on the market, Elton Brand and Ron Artest are going to exercise their optons. And f*** Pat Riley. This is the same douche that fired Stan Van (yes, he fired him, that family time excuse was total BS) and took over for a team that won a tainted championship. I'm pretty sure that DWhisle would of gotten the same calls that he did with Stan Van as the coach then Riley. 2nd Go educate yourself bro, dont be ignorant. How many ecf appearances? How many final appearances? How many hall of famers have played on this team? 3rd 7 years actually.

damn Pelfrey had some nasty inside pitches. He's looked really sharp, think he wins a rotation spot? Doubt it, but he'll get his 20 starts once El Duque goes on the dl.

That's overblown. We have 2 senior citizens but our core is mostly in their prime and not even in their prime yet. And to the other guy forget that sig wager with just a comment. Whoever loses has to rock some type of custom 400*90 sig. Hey, if I can show the respect to at least use your SN/Title, the least you could do is reciprocate... kthx? :fyou Also, you got yourself a deal :deal sorry PWG. :thumbup

just read the sig baby.. We have young players with very good veterans. Going into this season it's looking more and more like ground attack (may add Chatman, added Richardson) and us playing tough defense. This draft, just get me an inside linebacker who is tough as hell and makes plays ala Harris and a guy who can stretch the field and give Clemens a deep threat. Your sig is always wrong. F U sir. This year, when Santana leads us to the promise land, we'll see who is talking. :notworthy promise land? is that a retirement home for the rest of the ancient ones on the muts? That's overblown.
